June can be a particularly good time for those not tied to school holiday dates, as you can already enjoy warm, sunny weather in a host of popular hotspots such as Greece, Portugal, Croatia, Turkey and more.
Plus, there’s the added benefit of avoiding the higher prices and larger crowds that come with peak holiday seasons.

1.Portugal

Portugal has long been a British favorite thanks to those ridiculously beautiful beaches, gleaming hotels and plethora of bars and restaurants on offer.
Lisbon is ideal if you’re looking for a bustling city as well as great views, while those after lazy days at the beach will want to head to the Algarve, renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches and seaside resorts.
In June, temperatures in the hotspots can reach 28°C, which is perfect for those who want to laze by the sea, but you might want to pack a few layers for the evenings as temperatures can drop to 20°C C once the sun has gone down.

The Greek islands, including popular hotspots like Santorini and Rhodes, tend to have a similar climate to the mainland, although it can get a little cooler in the evening, so it’s worth throwing on a sweater or two in your suitcase.

In June, Spain generally has warm sunny days (around 32°C) but cooler evenings, sometimes as cold as 14°C, so pack plenty of layers. The chance of a sunny day outweighs the risk of rainy days, and with these daily warm temperatures, it can be the perfect time to make the most of Spain’s best beaches.
