Welsh rugby legend joins Signature Property Finance | Wales Business News

Signature Property Finance has signed a Welsh rugby legend as its first brand ambassador.
After a 15-year rugby career that included 52 caps for Wales and two tours for the British and Irish Lions, Scott Quinnell has become a television regular.
Among a range of business interests, he is also a patron of ScoutsCymru and works hard to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with dyslexia, having himself been diagnosed in his early 30s.
“This is a great opportunity to get the message across that despite having dyslexia, you can be successful,” Quinnell said. “Signature and I share the same values of honesty, openness and integrity, while giving back by supporting local charities.
“I think the transition from sport to business is relatively easy. Most of the same rules apply and you have to be dedicated, listen to the advice of those around you and deliver what is expected of you, that which I recognize in the signature Ethos.
“It all made the decision easy, especially when I met Signature Managing Director Tony, who is another proud Welshman with a passion for getting things done and always delivering on the promises made at the outset.”
Chief Executive Tony Gilbertson added, “We have a lot of activities planned for the year to really push finance brokers and home developers, why doing business with Signature is a rewarding experience that offers many unique benefits.
“Scott shares our approach to life and business; do what you say you will do, keep your promises and always act with integrity. His commitment to everything he does was evident in his rugby and he transferred his leadership and his skills motivation to the commercial world.
The company had a strong performance in 2021, providing more than £44m in loans to property developers.
