Spain fully supports the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU | app
The Western Balkans are an integral part of the European Union and Spain fully supports the region’s integration into the 27-member bloc, the Spanish Prime Minister said on Monday.
Pedro Sanchez was in Tirana, the Albanian capital, on Monday on the first-ever trip by a Spanish prime minister to the country. The stopover in Albania was the last leg of Sanchez’s journey through the Western Balkans which had previously taken him to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
