The show is being held for the fifth time after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus. Each of the hotels will offer a variety of Spanish dishes created by local chefs and in collaboration with renowned Spanish chefs such as Juan López Pérez and Stefano Brunato, as well as entertainment by flamenco dancers. As part of the fair, you can also take art classes with tapas and wine.

Spain’s Ambassador to Japan, Fidel Sendagorta, said: “Japan and Spain share many traditions deeply rooted in both cultures, among which the love for high quality food stands out. Our countries enjoy an ancient and rich culinary culture, diverse in variety and ingredients from the cold north to the warm south, from the mountains to the sea, from rural themes to the most cosmopolitan urban areas. Both countries also seek innovation and excellence in their recipes.

The theme of this year’s fair is “Recorrer” (which means to travel in English). The idea is that customers enjoy various events by visiting different hotels as if they were traveling through Spain.
