By buying with Buyl, the founder of Open Frontiers shares his inside knowledge…

Ben Buyl, Founder and Director of Open Frontiers has worked in the luxury real estate industry for over 25 years and has since worked with over 1,000 clients, many of whom return to do business again.

Luckily for us, he gives us some tips on what to look for when buying property in Spain.

“Location, location, location is key,” he says.

Make sure you’re where you want to be and check out the build quality.

“The south orientation is always excellent, the sea views are a huge bonus, as well as the proximity to the beach, these things will increase the value of the property further down the line”.

When buying here, be guided by professionals who know the area.

There are many to choose from, but it’s important that you make sure you choose honest and experienced agents.

Ben continues: “Pay attention to your surroundings, make sure you know what is going to be built in the area, make sure there are no apartment buildings right in front of you, or anything that might block your view.”

For more advice from the pro, or if you are looking to buy or list a property in Sotogrande and surroundings, please do not hesitate to contact Ben at (+34)696078461 or by email at ben@openfrontiers.com .
