The new easing of restrictions may have even made you enthusiastically prepare travel plans, another activity that has been put on hold due to the pandemic. However, you will need to do some research before you book your flights. As vaccination rates have slowed and cases have reached new highs, the situation in the United States has worsened and now many popular destinations are limit tourism to vaccinated travelers only. Grenada has long been a destination of choice for those looking to soak up the warm Caribbean sun. However, this year dipping your toes in the crystal-clear waters of Granda will only happen if you are fully vaccinated. As of July 31, immigration officials in Grenada have been ordered to deny entry to visitors not vaccinated against COVID-19, except Grenadian citizens or residents.

The Ministry of Health says anyone who wishes to travel to this beautiful island must apply for travel authorization, show proof of vaccination and provide a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of arriving at the airport. If you go on vacation with children under 13 who cannot be vaccinated, Grenada imposes an additional 48-hour quarantine.

September and October are prime months for tourism in Spain. The pleasant weather, festivals and wine tastings make it a perfect time to explore the country. But if you want to visit a Spanish vineyard or visit the Gothic Quarter, you’ll need to take your photos first.

Since September 6, travel restrictions for U.S. citizens have increased, CNN reports. After the European Union recommended that visitors from the United States be limited to essential travel, Spain demanded that tourists be fully vaccinated. According to Spanish Ministry of Health, entering the country for non-essential travel purposes now requires proof of vaccination.

Sweden has a reputation for being one of the happiest and safest countries in the world. Tourists flock to this Nordic country for its breathtaking national parks and unique culture, but as of yet no American tourist can visit it, vaccine status aside. According to Visit Sweden, “there is a ban on non-essential travel to Sweden from countries outside the EU / EEA”. The ban runs until the end of October, when American travelers will be allowed to visit the country as long as they provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Gorgeous beaches, sandy coves, and incredible snorkeling make these tropical islands coveted tourist destinations. According to Government of Turks and Caicos, tourism is welcome and quarantines are not mandatory on the island, but only if you are fully vaccinated. In addition to proving their vaccination status, tourists must also provide proof of a negative COVID test.

Although Trinidad and Tobago’s borders were reopened in July, this Caribbean destination is currently under severe restrictions. Not only is there a daily curfew across the country from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., but only vaccinated tourists are welcome on the islands. “Fully vaccinated nationals and non-nationals can enter through Trinidad and Tobago airports,” the government explains, but “unvaccinated non-nationals will be NOT be allowed to enter Trinidad and Tobago at this time. Only unvaccinated nationals are allowed, but even they must complete a mandatory 14-day quarantine at an approved hotel overseen by the state.
