The celebration of the Spanish National Day took place on Tuesday evening at the Spain Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. The celebration was hosted by the Embassy of Spain in Abu Dhabi, the Pavilion of Spain and the Spanish Business Council (Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the United Arab Emirates).
Over 350 people attended the event, hosted by Spanish Ambassador Iñigo de Palacio España, Carmen Bueno, Deputy Commissioner General of the Spanish Pavilion, and Guillermo Cobelo Fernández, President of the Spanish Business Council (SBC).
Among the guests were Emirati officials, representatives of Spanish companies, members of the Spanish Business Council, ambassadors, members of the Spanish community and Expo officials, according to a press release.
Addressing the assembly, the Deputy Commissioner General of the Spain Pavilion invited the Spanish community and all guests to visit the pavilion and enjoy more than 100 performances held over the next six months.
