Dubai’s Sunset Hospitality Group will expand to 14 countries in 2022

Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group (SGH) has revealed plans to expand into markets including Spain and Greece in 2022.
SHG, which was established in 2011, currently operates in 10 countries across 26 brands and has now announced plans to expand its portfolio to over 50 operating locations in 14 countries by the end of the year. .
Its expansion plans for this year begin with the opening of DREAM and Garden of Dreams, at the Address Resort Hotel JBR. The dining and entertainment concept, DREAM, combines live musical acts and performances with a Mediterranean menu. Dream will offer a “dinner and show” concept that combines the best of culinary art with an eclectic mix of cutting-edge theatrical and artistic performances. The shows orchestrated by choreographer Pierre Khadra who has worked with international and regional celebrities such as Ricky Martin and Andrea Bocelli, Myriam Fares and Wael Kfoury.

Another high-profile opening is Sunset’s upcoming Dubai venue called L’Amo Bistro del Mare. The upscale Italian seafood restaurant in the Port of Dubai is set to open in the first quarter.
Later this year, Sunset will bring award-winning Chinese restaurant Mott 32 to Dubai. With a menu made up of recipes handed down from generation to generation, this restaurant will take place on the 73rd floor of a hotel still kept secret.
Internationally, Sunset Hospitality’s METT Hotels & Resorts will expand with an opening in summer 2022 on the shores of Spain’s Costa Del Sol. METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella – Estepona will house 253 rooms, several dining experiences, a swimming pool, an expansive beach and a spa.
“This year marks our first 10 years. It has been a difficult but successful journey so far. But this is just the beginning, we aim to further grow our portfolio, expand our presence in key cities around the world and double the size of our business over the next two years,” said Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality Group.
“The year 2021 saw the launch of some of our key hotel projects as well as our adventure in the hotel sector, it was a very successful year despite the challenges posed by the ongoing pandemic.”
Some of the group’s highlights from 2021 included two openings of AURA Skypool & Lounge and SUSHISAMBA, located at The Palm Tower. Last year he also announced the expansion of METT Hotels & Resorts to Marbella after a very successful start in Bodrum.
