The charming Cartama Oval in Malaga, Spain is the beautiful venue for the historic Dream11 European Cricket Championship which culminates on Friday, October 8th.
15 European countries battle it out for the title of European Dream11 Cricket Champion in four weeks of high-octane T10 action.
Cartama Oval is surrounded by the spectacular backdrop of the mountains of Malaga. Due to the fabulous Mediterranean climate, cricket can be played all year round on the Costa del Sol, just 15 minutes drive from Malaga airport and 20 minutes from central Malaga. Away from the ECC21 action, Costa del Sol CC play league and social games here with touring teams that feature high on the calendar.
The success of the land is inspired by the owner of English origin, David Cooper, who has lived in Cartama for 35 years. Formerly a former turf nursery supplying turf to world famous golf resorts across Europe before its conversion to the Cartama Oval – a first class sports field offering high quality facilities and onsite hospitality.
âThe Dream11 European Cricket Championship is a fantastic new initiative, and we are honored to host the inaugural tournament,â said David Cooper of Sports World Spain.

“My dream of making Cartama the premier cricket center in Spain is coming true and we are committed to hosting many more events in the European cricket network.”
Plans are already emerging for the next European Cricket League, âThe European Cricket Champions Leagueâ – ECL22 – with 30 European Champion Clubs competing for six weeks in February and March at the Cartama Oval to be crowned âKingsâ. Europe â.
