“Pawns & Kings” is comprised of 10 epic new tracks that are sure to attract new fans of the band around the world while satiating their staunch supporters who have been patiently waiting for the band’s new music. “Pawns & Kings” found Alter Bridge find a long-time collaborator and producer Michael “Elvis” Basketball to create a collection of memorable new additions to the group’s impressive catalog.

From the first riffs of “It’s the war” to the title song album closer “Pawns and Kings” Alter Bridge returns with an album of intense tracks born after their last album cycle was cut short by the global pandemic. songs like “Death Among the Living” “Silver Tongue” and “Holiday” showcase the iconic songwriting the band is known for. The album offers many epic adventures, with three songs over six minutes each. The album “Fable of the Silent Son” clocks in at 8:29 and is the longest song recorded in the band’s catalog – a distinction held by “Blackbird” so far. Marc Tremonti comes out of his role as a chorister to take the lead of “Stay,” an introspective ballad that is sure to become a fan favorite.

Alter Bridge will be touring extensively to support Pawns & Kings. The band have already announced a European tour for November and December which will make 25 stops over a six-week period.
